New ADMI director selected
Dr. Alex Winter-Nelson has been selected as the new director of the ADM Institute for the Prevention of Postharvest Loss. Dr. Winter-Nelson has served as the director of the College of ACES Office of International Programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for the past five years. He began serving as the ADMI director on October 1, 2017.
In addition to new leadership, ADMI has also become part of the Office of International Programs. The move to OIP will allow us to leverage expertise in international partnerships to create a sustainable future for the Institute. We are all looking forward to charting a new direction and vision to find actionable and practical ways to reduce global postharvest losses.
